Bridgestone and Top Tyres commercial customer evening

Bridgestone and Top Tyres recently held a very successful commercial customer evening in O’Brien’s Inn, Glenbrien, Co. Wexford, an establishment which has a direct involvement from Top Tyre’s Ger Doran.

Over 70 fleet managers, transport operators and agricultural contractors were present on the night.

The presentations focused on Bridgestone’s Duravis and Ecopia tyres including their sustainability credentials and fuel saving capabilities.

Conor Curran from Bridgestone Ireland outlined the upcoming European Vecto legislation, requiring commercial vehicle manufacturers to reduce their CO2 or face heavy penalties.

Bridgestone’s north region commercial director, David Almazan gave a great insight into how Bridgestone’s Duravis and Ecopia tyres can help operators to reduce their running cost over the life of the tyre.

Colm Conyngham, Bridgestone’s marketing manager highlighted the strong partnership between Bridgestone and Top Tyres locally and complemented them on the service they provide to their customers.

Andrew Dowdall, Bridgestone’s agricultural tyre representative concluded the evening with a talk on the Bridgestone VX tractor tyre and its excellent performance.
