Willie Barry of garage equipment specialists AGE Ltd. has completed the 2022 Irish Life Dublin Marathon in a personal best time of three hours and 25 minutes.
Willie, who has previously run marathons in New York, Chicago, Berlin, Cork and the BWM triathlon in Dunmore East took part in this year’s marathon in Dublin to raise money for the Organization for Autism Research (OAR).
Run For Autism is OAR’s signature fundraising programme, with the 2022 Irish Life Dublin Marathon a key fundraising event.
Willie Barry commented: “Delighted to have completed this year’s Dublin Marathon in a personal best time and raise much needed funds for autism. A big thank you also to all those who sponsored me for the event.”
The Dublin Marathon took place on Sunday, 30th October, with one lap around the city. The race started at Fitzwilliam Street Upper and finished at nearby Merrion Square, close to Trinity College.
