DMV Transport takes Northern Ireland’s first Renault Trafic Red Exclusive

Belfast-based delivery specialist, DMV Transport, has taken delivery of Northern Ireland’s first Renault Trucks Trafic Red Exclusive.

The vehicle’s unique and striking design, technical specification and excellent working relationship with the local dealer were all cited as reasons for the new vehicle selection.

DMV Transport’s new 150bhp Trafic Red Exclusive L2H1, is a high-specification light commercial vehicle supplied by Diamond Trucks, and is fully loaded with options including factory fitted polypropylene sides and wood floor load kit, LED lights and fog lights, metallic pain, alloys, under seat storage and Apple car play.

The “Red Exclusive” is the name for Renault Trucks’ recently launched exclusive range of LCVs and features a chrome grille and body-coloured bumper, together with a matching painted side door rail and light bar. Scarlet-coloured details including red ringing on the gear stick, red seat belts and wheel centre all reflect Renault Trucks’ characteristic brand identity.

Added to the 15-strong van and truck DMV Transport fleet, the new Trafic Red Exclusive will be put to work on a wide range of deliveries from parcels up to pallets across Ireland, UK and into Europe including France, Spain, Italy and Poland.

David McVeigh, director at DMV Transport says: “We run a mixed fleet including two Renault Trucks Master vans and we already have a great working relationship with Diamond Trucks who are just up the road in Newtownabbey.

“I also like to stand out from the crowd and I felt that the new Renault Trucks Trafic Red Exclusive, with its great specification and stylish, eye-catching good looks, was the perfect way to do just that.”

The new vehicle has a generous load capacity of up to 8.9 m3 and 1,300 kg and to facilitate loading and unloading operations, the Renault Trucks Trafic Red Exclusive’s sheet metal rear doors can be opened to 270 degrees (with a locking catch) and the loading area has LED lighting for improved visibility.
