Antrim firm making lifting attachments for mini-diggers
A company in Northern Ireland is designing and manufacturing a range of lifting attachments that allows users of 0.8-3.5 tonne excavators to quickly and safely lift much more.
County Antrim-based Excavator Forklift (EFL) says the attachment makes light work of handling common 1-1.5 tonne deliveries, and that attachment and detachment are quick and easy, with limited modifications to the machine being required.
The attachment works off the excavator hammer service, re-directing the hydraulic pressure of the digger to create a vertical lift by the attachment.
EFL says the lifting capacity and maximum height of loads are dependent on excavator weight and the volume of hydraulic oil / pressure available.
For example its high lift (c. 2m lift) model, fitted to a one tonne digger can lift one tonne – 100 per cent of a digger’s weight.
Excavator Forklift is located on the Shore Road in Larne.
