New head of R&D at Schmitz Cargobull

Schmitz Cargobull has appointed Marnix Lannoije as its new chief research and development officer, effective 1st October.

He replaces Roland Klement, who has retired after over a decade at the company.

Lannoije has more than 20 years of experience working for leading companies in the automotive and transport industry.

He has worked for Schmitz Cargobull since 2019 and was responsible for the extension and further development of the digital services product line.

“With his expertise and management experience, Schmitz Cargobull is well-equipped for the future,” said Andreas Schmitz, CEO of Schmitz Cargobull AG.
