ZC Rubber Europe appoints new deputy GM

Ákos Barcsik has been appointed new deputy general manager of ZC Rubber Europe.

In his new position, Barcsik will be responsible for the development of truck and bus radial tyres for the European market and overseeing overall sales in Europe.

Barcsik joined ZC Rubber in 2017 as a field engineer manager before becoming sales director of ZC Rubber Europe in 2021 where he helped to develop the second-generation Westlake brand of truck tyres, which are distributed in Ireland by COS Wholesale Ltd.

ZC Rubber Europe said that with Barcsik as European sales director, its sales network has grown significantly and it has achieved OE fitments with several commercial vehicle OEMs.
