New Continental multi V-belts for commercial vehicles

High summer temperatures give commercial vehicle drivers and their vehicles plenty to think about, which makes it all the more important that the cooling systems for major components and the air conditioning for the cabs keep working without a hitch.

Because of this, Continental has once again expanded its range of multi V-belts for commercial vehicles with the addition of some 30 types.

In many models, these belts power components in the accessory drive, such as the water pump and fan. They therefore play a critical role in ensuring reliable engine cooling in extreme conditions.

However, in some vehicles, such as the Volvo 8700, 9700, 9900 models and in trucks from MAN TGA and Scania, they also drive the air-conditioning compressor – and therefore enhance comfort and safety levels for the driver.

Retailers, commercial vehicle workshops and haulage firms running their own workshops can now call on over 250 multi V-belt variants from Continental in all, including types for trucks and buses from Mercedes-Benz, MAN, DAF, Iveco, Volvo and Scania.

This allows the vast majority of repair requirements on vehicles from the major manufacturers in the European market to be covered reliably.
