Top global automotive suppliers revealed

German automotive specialist magazine Automobil Produktion, in cooperation with the global consultancy Roland Berger, has published its ‘Top 100 Automotive Suppliers Global Ranking 2022’.

It outlines how the 100 largest suppliers in the automotive industry performed in the 2021 financial year.

Bosch retained its position at the top, with sales of $51.54 billion to automakers worldwide in 2021.

This is followed once again by Denso, who recorded $41.42 billion in global sales to automakers last year. ZF Friedrichshafen is in 3rd, with sales of $39.65 billion.

Magna International ($36.24b) and Hyundai Mobis ($35.07b) make up the top five.

Meanwhile, Continental is the top ranked tyre supplier in this report, finishing 6th overall with sales of $34.94 billion.

Bridgestone ($23.54b) and Michelin ($20.73b) placed 8th and 10th, respectively.

Aisin Seiki ($33.79b) and Huayu Automotive ($21.43b) complete the top 10.
