Crouch Recovery takes four post lift from Totalkare

UK recovery specialist Crouch Recovery has upgraded its workshop facilities after taking a light commercial four post lift from workshop equipment experts, Totalkare.

Crouch Recovery owns and manages a varied fleet of over 150 vans, tow trucks and other heavy and light recovery vehicles. It provides breakdown recovery and roadside assistance to a wide variety of clients, including hauliers, fleet management companies, and various emergency services, including a recently acquired Warwickshire Police contract.

Having previously purchased multiple sets of mobile column lifts, Y-MECH Lift with jacking beam, pit jacks and more from Totalkare, the recovery and heavy haulage firm has now invested in a light commercial four post lift to support frequent lifting of vans and other light vehicles for service and repair at its Wolvey depot near Hinckley in Leicestershire.

With a lifting capacity of 4,000-8,000kg, the lift in question is ideal for operations requiring a fixed position lifting solution for vans and other light commercial vehicles.

The lift was installed and surface-mounted by Totalkare engineers, however, it can also be recessed into the floor if required, with drive on/drive through options also available. The lift can be used as a standalone application, but can also form part of a Class 7 MOT bay if required.

Adam Bowser, sales director for Totalkare said: “This latest investment in a light commercial four-post lift extends our existing positive relationship with Crouch Recovery, for whom it’s fair to say we are the workshop equipment supplier of choice.

“This is testament to the quality and reliability of all Totalkare’s products and the aftersales service we provide to our customers.”
