Frank and Dave bow out in Ireland

Two long standing members of the Bridgestone Ireland team have recently reached the end of their Bridgestone journey; Frank White and David Anderson have cumulative service of over 55 years between them.

Frank started in Field Engineering in the early 90s and worked in TBR Sales Management and First Stop development during his Bridgestone career.

Frank innovated early on with the first mobile alignment check for commercial vehicles and was a regular visitor to leading commercial vehicle fleets for many years helping to cement a market leading position for Ireland. More recently Frank made a strong contribution to the First Stop network in Ireland.

David (Dave) Anderson has been a stalwart of Bridgestone’s supply chain in Ireland and the North of Europe since the 1990s always making sure the Bridgestone Balbriggan warehouse had the stock it needed to fulfil customer orders.

Dave was also a legend throughout Bridgestone Europe and was often called upon by his colleagues in other regions to give advice on stock and forecasting.

He was seldom absent from the Balbriggan office, holding the fort throughout the pandemic, and his Bridgestone colleagues say it will be quieter building without him. Frank and Dave’s departures were marked with a show of appreciation from their colleagues with a lively dinner for Frank and an energetic group walk with Dave on the Athlone Greenway.
