Drogheda Hire & Sales chooses DAF for latest fleet addition

Drogheda Hire & Sales recently took delivery of a brand-new DAF 8×2 CF 450 rigid unit. The truck was handed over to the business by DAF Trucks Ireland regional sales manager, Paul O’Reilly at DAF Kearns & Murtagh, Co Louth.

The highly spec’d vehicle boasts a 450 hp Mx 11 engine with a 340 litre aluminium fuel capacity, along with cruise control, forward collision warning, advance emergency braking system and reverse warning. The vehicle also comes with a full DAF three-year factory warranty.

Additional work carried out includes a Fassi crane 7.365 a . 224 supplied and fitted by Kearns & Murtagh (Fassi agent), Newry, and a cheese wedge body supplied by Nugent Works in Dungannon, Co Tyrone.
