Osram introduces new VX1000 lightbar

Osram has released the latest addition to its range of LEDriving driving and working lights, the VX1000 lightbar.

With 36 powerful, high-performance Osram long-life LEDs, its combination beam is designed for both far-field and near-field illumination. It has a range of up to 525 metres and provides drivers with impressive brightness both on-road and off-road, according to Osram.

The lightbar’s colour temperature of up to 6000K (Kelvin) has a light colour similar to daylight and homogeneous light distribution.

Whether on-road or off-road, Osram claims the VX1000 also impresses with its powerful performance and a long service life of up to 5,000 hours.

Thanks to high quality materials, such as the aluminum housing and the stable polycarbonate lens, it is particularly light and at the same time robust and resistant.

What’s more, the integrated driver and the thermal management system regulate the temperature of the LED Lightbar and can thus prevent damage from overheating.

The polarity protection inhibits the wrong polarity of the voltage supply and can prevent possible damage by automatically switching off the LEDs.

Osram says the Lightbar VX1000-CB SM can be mounted to cars, trucks, agricultural machinery, farm machinery, commercial vehicles, construction vehicles, caravans, off-road vehicles and quad bikes.
