Maxus named EV manufacturer of the year

Maxus (Harris Automotive Distributors) has been named ‘Electric Vehicle Manufacturer of the Year’ at the 2021 GreenFleet Awards, held recently in Warwick.

The award, according to the GreenFleet Awards website, is presented to the EV manufacturer with the most impressive launch or sales performance throughout 2021.

Mark Barrett, general manager of Harris Maxus, said: “It has been an extremely busy and rewarding year at Harris Maxus where we have seen sales increase by 400 per cent over the past 12 months.

“Not only that, but we have also expanded out dealership network and developed and fitted new telematic software to all Maxus vehicles as standard.

“We are extremely proud of what we have achieved in 2021 and winning EV manufacturer of the year is the icing on top of the cake.”

On the night, Maxus was also commended in the ‘LCV Manufacturer of the Year’ and ‘IT Innovation Award’ categories. Meanwhile, the Maxus e Deliver 9 was also commended in the GreenFleet ‘Vehicle of the Year’ category.
