Double celebration for Mercedes-Benz

The commercial vehicles division of Mercedes-Benz in Ireland had two good reasons to celebrate success at the recent Fleet Transport Awards 2022.

On the heavy commercial vehicle front, the limited edition Mercedes-Benz Actros Edition II, was honoured with the Irish Flagship Truck of the Year award.

In the Electric Van of the Year medium size category, Mercedes-Benz approach towards e-mobility was recognised with the all-electric eVito winning the Irish Green Commercial of the Year Award.

Mercedes-Benz commercial vehicles sales manager, Fergus Conheady said: “To receive these prestigious awards, particularly at a time when climate change and other topics are so much in the news, is a particular honour indeed and is recognition that the approach by Mercedes-Benz towards e-mobility is on the right path.”
