Carey Glass strengthens Mercedes-Benz truck fleet

Independent Irish glass processor, Carey Glass, has recently taken delivery of two new Actros 2540L units, which brings to 29 the number of Mercedes-Benz trucks now on its fleet of heavy commercial vehicles.

Supplied by Mercedes-Benz commercial vehicle main dealer Truck Car Sales in Patrickswell, and factory paint finished in the Tipperary firm’s blue and white livery, features on the new 400bhp units include 10.7 litre engines, 12-speed powershift gearboxes, trailer brakes and electrics and enforced rear stabilisers.

Inside, driver comforts include air conditioning, night heater, satellite navigation, Apple Car Play, Bluetooth and comfort cab suspension.
