New Northern Ireland sales manager at Schmitz Cargobull

Schmitz Cargobull has bolstered its sales team with three appointments ahead of production commencing at its new Manchester factory.

The company has appointed Kevin Wynd as sales manager for Northern Ireland, as well as Scotland and north-east England.

Stephen Mallett has been promoted to head of sales and will focus on business development, while Lee Roberton will look after customers in the south-east of England.

The 59,200 square foot Manchester facility will produce custom-built vehicles for customers in the UK and Ireland.

Initial production will focus on dry freight trailers for the home delivery market and will include 4.2m and 4.6m freepost curtainsiders and a new lightweight fuel-saving box van.
