Davanti to debut Vantoura 4-Season van tyre
Davanti tyres is set to debut its new all-season Vantoura 4-Seasons van tyre at the upcoming Commercial Vehicle Show at the NEC in Birmingham.
This new tyre will join Davanti’s Protoura Sport – for van conversions, DX440 van tyre and Terratoura A/T tyre – for commercial pickups. This will be the first time Davanti’s entire commercial vehicle tyre range has been exhibited together.
Davanti will be joined at the show by automotive designers Sterling Automotive, who for the last three years have collaborated with Davanti. Sterling will showcase its array of light commercial van modifications.
The tyre maker says the CV Show comes at the perfect time to present the Vantoura 4-Seasons, which it claims offers enhanced wet and cold weather performance to 3-Peak Mountain Snowflake standard.
“The Vantoura is perfect for all van drivers,” says Sean Maddocks, Davanti sales director for the UK and Ireland. “It removes the hassle of changing tyres seasonally without compromising on safety and handling.”
He adds: “For van drivers who don’t legally have to change their tyres for winter, it offers improved winter and wet weather control over using a pure summer tyre.
“When your van is your livelihood, staying safe on the road is critical – Vantoura 4-Seasons is designed to keep you moving no matter what.
“Commercial applications can be incredibly versatile, which is why in addition to the Vantoura we are showcasing our existing DX440 – which is OE on the LEVC VN5 electric van – Protoura Sport, which is suitable for van conversions with 20-inch plus wheel sizes and Terratoura A/T, for commercial pickups that absolutely need to conquer any terrain.”
The Vantoura is initially available in 11 common 15 and 16 inch van fitments.
Blackburn-based Sterling will be showing off its customer Ford Transit – which highlights its bespoke interior styling and added comfort plus its attention-grabbing exterior bodywork designs.
Davanti tyres are fitted across Sterling’s range of re-imagined premium cars and vans.
