PCL has appointed Ben Kershaw to the role of technical sales manager with responsibility for growing sales and providing technical and product support in the petrol, automotive, industrial and fluid markets.
He replaces Owen McCaughey, who PCL says has moved on to pastures new following a successful eight years with the company.
Kershaw will report to export business development manager, Jonathan Robinson.
PCL describes Kershaw as an experienced engineer, who has supported both internal and external stakeholders in technical management roles, most recently in renewable energy.
During his career he has worked as a technical support engineer, delivering training, developing fault-finding guides and answering questions from engineers out in the field.
Kershaw comments: “It was great to pick up the baton from Owen, and I am keen to build on his work with PCL whilst bringing my own original approach to the position. I will continue in the same, customer-first manner, introducing aspects from my background in fault-finding.
“I am very thorough in that respect, if a problem comes up I only want it to come up once and will work to ensure it does not reoccur.”
