New DAFs for Beaches Logistics Carlisle

Beaches Logistics Carlisle has taken delivery of four DAF 530 XFs which are fully equipped with tracking, camera systems and state-of-the art transmission, for the transportation of modular buildings.

The 4×2 units are being used by Beaches to assist Modular Movements all over the UK. Modular buildings are being increasingly used to construct schools, hospitals and office buildings due to their low cost and more environmentally friendly credentials, and the XFs are already being put to the test on long-distance deliveries 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

The new vehicles are supplied by DAF dealer Motus Commercials, the largest independent commercial vehicle dealer group in the UK, with 30 sites from Scotland to the South West.

Handed over by Motus Commercials Derby, the DAF XF 530 FT 4×2 Super Space Cabs are fully equipped to benefit the operator and driver featuring: the fuel-efficient DAF MX-13 engine, TraXon gearbox, Alcoa Dura Bright alloy wheels, skylights and full AMK.
