ITIA launches tyre safety campaign

The Irish Tyre Industry Association (ITIA), in partnership with An Garda Siochána and the RSA has this week launched the safety campaign #TyreSafety in advance of next week’s Road Safety Week (October 7-13).

During this week, ITIA members will highlight all aspects of tyre and safety to consumers. A radio advert will also run from Oct 1-6 along with a social media campaign, printed posters and a safety leaflet for consumers.

During Road Safety Week itself, there will be a lot of emphasis placed on tyre safety and central to this will be nationwide Garda roadside checks specifically for tyres.
