DAF to feature at major construction expo in Belgium

To demonstrate its comprehensive and tailor-made product and services offering for the construction business, DAF Trucks is participating at the biennial Matexpo exhibition for building equipment, taking place from September 11-15 in Kortrijk, Belgium.

On display on the DAF Trucks stand will be – amongst other construction trucks – the new CF FAW 8×4, which is a world-first for Matexpo.

DAF Trucks’ 300 m2stand in Hall 5 of the Matexpo will exhibit three vehicles, including the 19-tonne LF Construction for local and regional distribution, the XF Super Space Cab for heavy haulage and new 8×4 CF FAW for a variety of applications.

New FAW
The new FAW chassis – available as both CF and XF rigid – features a tridem axle configuration with a double-drive tandem axle for excellent traction and a steered trailing axle providing a turning circle of just 15.6 meters and industry-leading maneuverability. The chassis lends itself perfectly for tipper, concrete mixer or hook lift bodywork.
