Strong start to 192 period for Renault

Renault Group Ireland enjoyed a strong start to the busy 192 registration period, finishing number one in the light commercial vehicle market, and with a 10.2 per cent combined share of the new car and van markets for July.

The Master, Trafic and Kangoo took the top spots in the large, medium and small van markets respectively. The Kangoo finished the month as the number one van in Ireland while the Master maintains its leadership position in the large van segment year-to-date.

The electric Kangoo Z.E. was Ireland’s best-selling electric van last month.

Renault’s network of 28 nationwide dealerships are currently running special offers on vans for the month of August.

Renault customers can avail of 3.9 per cent APR, five years’ warranty, five years’ roadside assistance, and further local dealer offers on vans. This offer is available through the ‘Renault Bank’.

Patrick Magee, Country Operations Director, Renault Ireland said: “We’re delighted to have had such a fantastic and positive performance for the start of 192. Our award-winning van range was the number one choice for Irish businesses, families are continuing to choose the versatile Kadjar and the stylish Captur remains ever popular. Renault is a pioneer and leader of the electric vehicle market in Europe and it’s great to see our range of electric vehicles on the up again last month.

“In these uncertain times with Brexit, we provide stability for our customers with low interest rates from Renault Bank reducing the cost of owning a vehicle. We’re looking forward to continued success with the Group as we move further into 192.”
