A part of something special

As the saying goes: “the whole is greater than the sum of its parts”. It’s a statement which is certainly true of commercial vehicles, with each part and component designed to work together to deliver the quality, performance and efficiency which customers expect from their vehicles. Take one component out of the equation and the whole vehicles stops, so when a part needs replacing due to repair or planned maintenance, customers need to ensure they get the part they need, when they need it.

TRP Parts Ireland is a company, which has made it its mission to ensure customers get the right part at the right time, to avoid any unnecessary downtime. TRP Parts Ireland is part of the same group as DAF Trucks Ireland, with both brands falling under the Paccar umbrella. DAF Trucks Ireland Aftersales Director Arthur O’Sullivan explains: “Through our TRP stores we not only stock Genuine DAF Parts, but also the country’s largest range of all-makes parts.”

With a portfolio of over 75,000 parts, all sourced from major manufacturers, TRP Parts Ireland is the largest supplier of all-makes parts in the country. In addition to trucks, the parts offering includes the full spectrum of commercial vehicles including trailers, vans and buses.

Officially an acronym for Truck Related Parts, in recent times TRP has more commonly been known to stand for: Trusted, Reliable, Proven. It is a reputation borne from a commitment to protect customer uptime by offering an extensive parts range, value for money and off-the-shelf availability.

O’Sullivan continues: “Quite simply, if a customer’s vehicle isn’t working, it’s not making them money. That’s why our expert team is dedicated to ensuring we have the right part in stock, wherever our customers are. We continue to grow our network of TRP parts stores throughout Ireland to help us achieve that.”

In the last 12 months TRP Parts Ireland has opened two new stores in Ballycoolin and Rathcoole, which have opened on the sites of commercial vehicle repair outfits North Road Commercials and Rathcoole Commercials respectively.

O’Sullivan highlighted the importance of these commercial partnerships: “It’s a fantastic arrangement and we’re delighted to be working with both North Road and Rathcoole Commercials. They will continue to deliver the outstanding levels of CV repair and maintenance and we will supply their operation with parts, and be able to service additional parts customers from the locations too.”

The new stores join existing TRP Parts outlets in Limerick, Galway, Cork, Cavan, Kilkenny and Donegal, helping the organisation to provide tcustomers with outstanding availability of DAF and all-makes parts nationwide.

Just the start

“Over the next 12 – 18 months we are looking to expand our TRP offer even further – including Dundalk and Sligo”, says Arthur O’Sullivan, “High quality, available parts is what makes this industry tick and whether you are operating a truck, trailer, van or bus – we want to ensure that TRP is your partner of choice for industry leading parts supply.”
