TIP Trailer Services completes 400km charity cycle across Portugal

Michael Murphy, commercial manager of TIP Trailer Services, in Dublin along with around 50 of the company’s staff, customers and suppliers set off on a 400 kms+ bike ride for charity from May 22-24.

The team, dubbed ‘Fat Bottom Boys & Girls’, raised money for the Donna Louise Trust and Christie’s Hospital by cycling for three days on a grueling route with a 12,000 foot climb, across Portugal.

The Donna Louise Trust, based in Stoke, provides specialist care & support services for children with a terminal illness or short life expectancy, whilst Christie’s Hospital, Manchester, is one of the largest cancer treatment facilities in Europe.

‘FBB&G’ has now raised over £250,000 for charity in the previous five years of this event.
