Menegaux, who joined Michelin as commercial director for truck tyres in the UK and Ireland in 1997, assumed the roles on May 17 at Michelin’s AGM, held at the company’s Clermont-Ferrand headquarters.

Senard was hired in January this year as CEO of the Renault–Nissan–Mitsubishi Alliance following Carlos Ghosn’s resignation as president of Renault.

Menegaux was picked by Michelin’s board of directors in February 2018 to succeed Senard, whose term as CEO was due to expire this year.
