Bridgestone’s truck tyre roadshow

Bridgestone Ireland’s truck tyre sales and marketing team has been visiting a series of high profile national and regional truck exhibitions, conferences and shows with a commercial tyre roadshow. The team has been highlighting Bridgestone’s truck tyres, service network and fleet management services.

The events included The Irish Road haulage Association’s annual conference, The Freight Transport Association’s transport managers’ seminar and the Waterford Truck Show.

A survey at the events showed a high percentage of the vehicles displayed were fitted with Bridgestone tyres confirming Bridgestone’s continued market leading position. At some of the events the figure was over 50 per cent Bridgestone fitment.

Bridgestone says it will continue to participate in events where it can directly interact with the road haulage and transport industry and going forward will outline new technology solutions developed by the company. The next event for Bridgestone is Full of the Pipe at Punchestown Race Course from June 8-9.
