The Health and Safety Authority (HSA) is set to hold a series of Transport Safety Seminars throughout the country in May.
The Transport Safety Seminars will focus on Risk Management priorities in transport operations.
The seminars will cover: preventing injuries in vehicle operations, manual handling risk management, preventing vehicle related slips, trips, falls and injuries as well as safe transport of dangerous goods [ADR].
The Road Safety Authority will address the seminar on commercial vehicle road worthiness operator risk rating, while Freight Transport Association Ireland will address the potential safety, health and welfare implications of BREXIT for workers and drivers in the supply chain.
Musgrave Retail Partners Ireland will deliver a Case Study on on Fleet Risk and Driver Management.
The seminars will take place at Fota Island Resort, Cork, May 01, Newpark Hotel, Kilkenny, May 02, Clayton Hotel, Ballybrit, Galway, May 08, Crowne Plaza, Blanchardstown, Dublin, May 09.
