In Commercial Vehicle Workshop Magazine, Managing Director, Karl Cuffe rus the rule over the company’s operations with John Loughran.
Euromotive Components recently move into a modern premises in Carrick-on-Shannon, Co. Leitrim which comprises an expansive warehouse, production facility, telesales offices and showroom.
Operating in what is ultimately a very competitive sector, Euromotive Components is focused on delivering quality products which stand the test of time.
The company sets its stall out to suppy quality products, that are competitively priced and back that up with superior levels of customer service, right throught the buying process, from initial enquiry to final delivery.
It’s a philosphy that is bearing fruit for the company. Karl enthused: “We supply to the vehicle builders who use our products on state vehicles such as Ambulances , Garda and fire vehicles.”
Word of the company’s prowess has spread as far as Spain, where it has supplied emergency lighting products for an number of ambulances being built there.
The company is also gaining traction in the UK, where its product range is creating quite a stir with customers appreciating quality and swift service.
Euromotive’s core competencies fall into four areas, auto electrical components, commercial vehicle lighting, warning lighting and hazard products, and power management.
The company’s auto electrical components range encompasses everything from its Italian made cable to high quality switches and wiring consumables needed for electrical installations.
The commercial vehicle lighting range is back-boned by high quality European manufactured mandatory lighting for trucks, supplying both OE and the aftermarket to suit almost any size or style.

Karl says the company’s ability to build Lightbars to individual customer requirements sets Euromotive Components apart from the competition.
To that end Euromotive Components regularly works with customers to design and ultimately build a range of products to individual customer requirements.
“We have a Lightbar production facility, where all bars from our premium range are hand built in Carrick-on-Shannon to ensure our valued customers can access the best lightbars in the world,” Karl explained.
He added: “Lightbars are built with a variety of options such as spot / driving lamps, work lights, stop tail indicators and opal centres.”
Karl elaborated: “Everything in the range can be built and shipped within 24-hours to suit individual customer requirements. This is one of our Unique Selling Points, and sets us aparts from the competition.”
Another key pillar of the company’s business philosophy is its insistance on supplying only compliant product. Karl concedes that on a number of occasions the company has lost business to unscrupulous operators that don’t operate to the same high standards.
“There is a lot of cheap, non-compliant product on the market, users need to be aware of what they are buying,as poor products add more cost in labour to replace and compromise safety,” Karl noted.
With a staff of 11, the company is large enough to cater for the biggest orders, yet small enough to ensure that every customer gets personal and friendly attention.
Right through the company from sales, administration, design and assembly there is a friendly, knowledgeable and focused member of staff on hand to deliver for the customer.
It’s a point that’s not missed by the affable Managing Director. “Our success is attributed to great staff who work hard and whose focal point is delivering a great customer service.”
“Our staff play an important part in the continued success of the company,” Karl added.
