Eclipse Automotive is holding new two-day Euro 6 emissions training courses, at the company’s training academy in Swadlingcote, Derbyshire on May 13-14 and 15-16.

As you would expect from a leading supplier of multi-brand diagnostic equipment in the commercial vehicle sector, Eclipse provides not only class leading Technical Support for its customers but also expert tuition covering the full range of vehicle diagnostics.

As part of the training programme Eclipse is offering two-day training courses at the Academy to raise knowledge of the Euro 6 Emission Control System.

Euro 6 is the current standard requirement in the LEZ for all new heavy duty engines for goods vehicles and buses and offers many advantages over previous standards as long as it is maintained effectively.

The Eclipse course will enable participants to gain a better understanding of how Euro 6 Emission Control Systems work and is reinforced with both theoretical and practical elements to the training.

The training is focused on helping the technicians to achieve a first time fix to a vehicle to ensure it is back on the road working effectively as fast as possible.

The course covers Euro 6 diagnosis of exhaust gases after-treatment systems and includes SCR and DPF after-treatment systems for all major manufacturers.
