FTA Ireland to launch new ADR training course
FTA Ireland is set to launch a new ADR training course in the coming weeks.
An ADR Driver Training Certificate is required for any driver who operates a vehicle used for transporting dangerous goods by road in Ireland and the EU (commonly call a ‘Haz Cert’). All drivers transporting dangerous goods are required to hold a valid in date ADR Driver Training Certificate.
Course: ADR Refresher 2 Day Basic Packages and Tanker Specialisation
Dates: Wednesday 6th & Thursday 7th February (examination date 21st February)
Location: FTA Ireland, Airport Business Park, Cloghran, Co. Dublin K67 AOF4
Cost: 1 Day Basic Packages course €200.00 pp 2 Day Basic Packages and Tanker Specialisation course €250.00 pp (examination fee not included)
Course: ADR 5 Day Initial Basic Packages and Tanker Specialisation (3 Day Initial Basic & 2 Day Tanker Specialisation)
Dates: Monday 18th to Friday 22nd February (examination date 7th March)
Location: FTA Ireland, Airport Business Park, Cloghran, Co. Dublin K67 AOF4
Cost: 3 Day Initial Basic Packages course €295.00 pp 5 Day Initial Basic and Tanker Specialisation €550.00 pp (examination fee not included)
Trainer, Eamon McEvoy is one of only seven trainers in Ireland approved by the Health & Safety Authority (HSA) to provide ADR Driver Training (International Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road) and has been involved in the transport of dangerous goods for more than 20 years both as a driver and a trainer.
