Dennison Commercials wins prestigious UK award
Dennison Commercials of Ballyclare, Co Antrim, a leading Volvo Truck & Bus dealer, has won the prestigious ‘Sales Team of the Year’ Award at the 2018 Commercial Motor Awards, which were held in Birmingham in November.
The annual awards ceremony is one of the most prestigious award ceremonies in the transport sector, showcasing the very best work of the UK and Ireland’s transport and haulage companies.
The prestigious award came in the Sales category and was awarded to Dennison’s as ‘a company who showed a high level of customer care’ and who ‘took a tailored approach to suit each individual customer’.
The judges’ comments recognised Dennison’s excellent sales figures, which demonstrated strong continuous growth. The judges’ comments also noted Dennison’s attention to detail and how they put their customers and staff first.

Ireland continued: “Volvo Financial Services provide over 40 per cent of our customers with a financial solution and we have over 70 per cent of our customers on Volvo fixed price Maintenance agreements.
“Winning this award only reinforces my belief that we have one of the best Sales teams in the UK. We have won Volvo Trucks’ ‘Sales Team of the Year’ plus ‘Dealer of the Year’ several times since 2012 so this certainly was a nice way to round off 2018.”
