A clean sweep from DPF Service Ireland

DPF Service Ireland Ltd used the Auto Trade EXPO in Dublin to showcase its range of DPF cleaning services to the trade.

DPF Service Ireland Ltd was one of the first companies in Ireland and Northern Ireland to specialise in cleaning DPFs and Catalytic Convertor filters for cars, commercial vehicles, HGVs and Plant Machinery.

The specialist process differs from most in its use of steam from de-ionised water to thoroughly clean and restore the filter removing 100 per cent of clogging ash and soot. The intensive operation takes longer than some others, but because it uses de-ionised steam, instead of normal water, it will not cause any damage to internal precious metal components. This means it is one of the few processes to be approved by main dealers, DPF Service Ireland claims.

DPF Service Ireland also points out that prior to cleaning, all DPFs have an X-ray examination, as if the DPF has any internal cracks cleaning will not be effective. All cleaned DPFs are fully air flow tested before return and come with a 2 year guarantee. Turnaround on a cleaning job can be as little as 24 hours, with free nationwide collection and delivery arranged on request.
