AS-PL uses GDPR to renew customer communication

In line with new European GDPR guidelines, AS-PL has taken the opportunity to revamp its communication platform with its customers. To comply with the new regulations, AS-PL is reminding clients about the possibility of subscribing to notifications from the company directly to the e-mail.

The most popular information is that of ‘New to Range’, with the company adding a lot of new references each month, covering both parts and complete Units. Kevin Sharp, Director of Sales for the UK & Ireland explains: “With the recent changes in GDPR this provided the ideal opportunity to not only re-address our customer notification database, but to also revamp the look and feel of the layout of the information we provide to our customers. The revised ‘New to Range’ newsletter is now in an easy to understand excel format and contains the new AS-PL Part Number, fitment details and all the relevant cross reference information. This allows the customer to quickly assess which of the NTR references to add to their stock portfolio.”

Sharp adds: “Adding your e-mail to the database couldn’t be simpler and ensures all the relevant people within each customer can receive the information they require to maximise their sales and stock range management>”

AS-PL haa been very busy in the past few months, with the company’s full product range recently being launched on MAM Autocat v8 as well as a new look Website and Webshop.
