Hella launches new diagnostic tool at Automechanika

Central to its appearance at Automechanika Birmingham in June, original equipment (OE) manufacturer and system supplier Hella, will be unveiling the new mega macs 77 diagnostic tool from Hella Gutmann Solution (HGS).

Although all the company’s lighting and electronics programmes will also be represented on its stand in Hall 19 (M148), HGS will be to the fore as the diagnostics specialist has particular resonance with the many technicians predicted to visit during the three-day event.

In addition to the much-anticipated mega macs 77, HGS has two other ‘box office’ draws in the form of a technical talk and accompanying display area to demonstrate its market-leading advanced driver assistance system (ADAS) camera and radar calibration (CSC) tool, and a special half-price offer on its comprehensive technical data package.

“Technicians are at the frontline when it comes to vehicle development, so it is vital for them and the livelihood of the independent sector, that they have access to the tools, information and products they need to effect the best possible service or repair solution,” said Helen Goldingay, Hella’s senior head of marketing & communications.

“Naturally, Automechanika allows us to showcase many of our products, but it provides us with a particularly effective opportunity to focus the attention on the HGS range, which is so pertinent to workshops as they need to be aware of the challenges presented by the growth of ADAS equipped vehicles, for example.

“Workshops must not let themselves be in a position of being forced to turn away business, when the equipment they need to recalibrate these vehicles following a repair process, is readily available and, as our technical seminar and display area demonstrates, straight forward and easy to use.

“We therefore welcome visitors to our stand to see, not just the CSC tool, new mega macs 77 or technical data package, but the entire Hella portfolio and thereby see for themselves the depth of aftermarket solutions the company can provide.”
