Fancy an ex-McLaren F1 support truck

Volvo Used Trucks Centres in the UK has announced it will be selling a fleet of vehicles previously owned and operated by the McLaren Formula 1 race team.

First registered new in 2016, the FH 13-litre 4×2 540 models were used by the race team as support trucks, carrying the Formula 1 racing cars, parts and technical support to the European races for the last two seasons.

All the vehicles are left-hand drive, with the top specification Globetrotter XL cab finished in leather trim, with fridges and microwave ovens included. All the examples are finished in a distinctive silver and orange McLaren colour scheme in standard or XLow chassis forms with Durabrite polished alloy wheels. The vehicles were maintained by Volvo from new under a service contract and have covered relatively low mileages.

The vehicles are available to order now for delivery this month complete with a certificate of authenticity issued by McLaren. The Volvo Used Truck Centres in London, East Anglia, North and Scotland are the sole suppliers.
