Bespoke MAN TGM joins Porsche fleet again

A special one-off MAN TGM has been produced to transport some of the UK’s most prestigious and high performance vehicles to VIP clients.

The unique transporter was built to specifications outlined by Porsche to deliver VIP and press loan vehicles across the UK from its base in Reading, Berkshire.

The rigid-bodies TGM has a cantilevered double-deck system and will be put in to service for 16-hour shifts, supporting operations by transporting customers’ Carerra GTs and 918 Spyders to Reading to attend the specialist service centre, as well as servicing VIP and press loans and supporting events, such as the forthcoming Goodwood Festival of Speed.

John Manning, Group Operations Centre manager for Porsche, said, “Obviously MAN is within our group, but we are confident that the bespoke-build TGM will make an excellent impression when delivering our press test vehicles to journalists and collecting these high-end vehicles from our customers.”
