Under bonnet lamp shines bright for Ring sales
The RUBL1000 Under Bonnet Lamp from Ring Automotive, is proving to be a hit with mechanics less than a year after the lamp was launched on to the market.
The first under bonnet lamp to be introduced to the Ring inspection lamp range, the RUBL1000, which launched in August 2016, has sold over 10,000 units in the UK and over 10,000 units internationally.
Lightweight, adjustable and suitable to mount on most vehicles, the RUBL1000 is the ideal solution for hands-free working in any workshop environment and is constructed with sturdy polycarbonate, ABS and aluminium.
New Product Development Manager for Ring, Bhavesh Mistry comments: “Our customers have put the Under Bonnet inspection lamp to the test and feedback has been extremely positive; with such strong sales, mechanics and technicians are clearly impressed by the results.
“We are finding that the RUBL1000 has become an essential tool to use when working under the bonnet and around the vehicle’s engine, and with the added benefit of being developed with the professional working environment in mind, this product is built to withstand the wear and tear of busy workshops and garages.”
With three levels of light output, a 40ο adjustable head and 60ο wide angle illumination, those relying on the tool can be confident that they will have the greatest levels of visibility when working on engines.
When all three lamps are concentrated in the area of work, light is constantly provided even if one of the lamps is obstructed, so mechanics will never have to worry about working in shadows. The length of the lamp is easily extended to fit most vehicles and the hooks that attach the lamp to the bonnet are covered in protective rubber ensuring there is no damage to bodywork.
The RUBL1000 is also rechargeable and has a powerful 13.7V, 10400mAh Li-ion battery pack. Not only does this eliminate the problems created by wires in the workplace, it also reduces downtime or the need for a constant power supply.
