Dennison Commercials named as Volvo Trucks Truck Dealer of the Year

Dennison Commercials Ltd has been named as Volvo Trucks ‘Truck Dealer of the Year’ at the annual awards ceremony held by the Swedish brand at the International Convention Centre (ICC) in Birmingham.

Each year, the prestigious awards aim to recognise Volvo’s key performer’s across its 16 dealer regions in the UK and Ireland.
Picking up the award for the third time in six years, Dennisons was judged against 86 different UK and Ireland dealer points. In addition to the specific measurement of customer satisfaction, the Volvo Trucks ‘Top Dealer of the Year 2016′ Award judging criteria, included how Dennisons performed in terms of the following business and commercial areas: Service Excellence measures, Volvo Action Service (VAS) measures on breakdowns, MOT first-time pass rate, depot quarterly audits, New and Used Truck Sales, Volvo Financial Services (VFS) Sales, contract penetration and Aftermarket performance.

The Used Truck Sales department also received recognition in the Used Volvo Truck Dealer of the Year category, while the Dungannon and Ballyclare Depots were recognised in the Volvo Truck Franchise Excellence category. Earlier in the year, the sales team at Dennison Commercials Ltd were also presented with Sales Team of the Year by Volvo, due to their outstanding performance in 2016.

In 2016 Dennison Commercials greatly exceeded its sales objectives by almost doubling its annual target. Customer service feedback was also at an all-time high with over 90% of customers stating that they were more than satisfied with the level of service they had received across the Dennison dealer points located in Ballyclare, Newry, Coleraine and Dungannon.
