Cataclean to exhibit at Automechanika Birmingham
Premium engine care specialist Cataclean will be exhibiting at Automechanika Birmingham for the first time this year. From June 6-8, the team will be on-hand to discuss the benefits of using the patented engine and fuel system cleaner and explain the technologies used in its unique formula.
Trading for over twenty years, Cataclean is sold in the UK and exported to over fifteen countries worldwide. The engine and fuel system cleaner is designed to clean and protect the catalytic converter, reduce the risk of DPF clogging and restore engine performance. Numerous independent tests provide clear evidence that Cataclean is safe and effective to use in all petrol, diesel and hybrid engines and can reduce vehicle emissions by up to sixty per cent. This is often enough to make the difference between a vehicle passing or failing its MOT emissions test.
Cataclean is developed to exceed the most recent environmental standards. The product contains solvents that can break down deposits in fuel delivery systems formed by oxidation and polymerisation of hydrocarbon. When Cataclean combusts it forms carboxylic acids, aldehydes and active peroxy compounds. When these compounds reach the exhaust vapours, they clean inside the catalytic converter, removing carbonaceous deposits from the surface of the core. The result is an increase in the catalyst’s ability to remove harmful exhaust emissions such as carbon monoxide and nitrogen oxides.
Cataclean has also proven effective at helping to maintain the DPF in cars and vans. For this reason, Cataclean is now carried by all 1,400 of the RAC’s patrol vehicles.
Commenting on the show, Cataclean’s Commercial Director Graham Fraser said, “We’re excited to be attending the UK’s leading exhibition for the automotive aftermarket and supply chain. This is the first time we’ve exhibited at such an influential trade event and we look forward to sharing the benefits of Cataclean with so many industry decision-makers. The host of benefits offered by Cataclean will no doubt appeal to those motor factors, distributors, workshops and MOT centres who will also be attending the show”.
On June 8, the team will be joined by Renault UK Clio Cup Championship driver, Daniel Rowbottom, who is currently competing in the 2017 series in a Cataclean sponsored Clio Cup race car.
The annual trade event opens its door on June 6 at Birmingham’s NEC and will play host to over 800 exhibitors and hopes to welcome over 12,000 visitors.
