First Stop Ireland recently held a very successful partner conference in the beautiful Powerscourt Hotel in Enniskerry, Co. Wicklow with a strong turnout of First Stop partners from different parts of both the North and South of Ireland.
The theme of the 2017 conference was “The Road to the Future” and included a key-note address on current developments in the automotive tyre and service sector by Pat Curran, Chief Financial Officer of Bridgestone Europe’s Retail Division and a presentation on the importance of the process at the point-of-sale by CJ Messmer, Head of Retail Operations, Bridgestone and First Stop Europe. In addition First Stop’s Stuart Eagland and Mike Glover presented First Stop’s new online platforms and future offerings. This was backed up by an enlightening presentation on digital marketing trends by Jared Huet, Curago Technologies.
Finally attendees were briefed by Bridgestone Ireland’s sales management team, Jackie Wherity and Frank White on new products and approaches in Bridgestone’s consumer and commercial divisions. A mini trade exhibition was held after the meeting with many of the preferred suppliers to the First Stop network showing their products and services.
