Atego remains the truck of choice for NAA

Ballymount-based NAA Limited – distributors of quality German components for the electrical, furniture, woodworking and packaging industries – has continued its tradition, since 1985, of choosing Mercedes-Benz for its commercial vehicle fleet following the recent acquisition of a new Atego short-radius distribution truck.

A family-owned Irish business founded in 1922, NAA has close to a century of industry experience and stocks more than 3,000 products available for next day delivery with access to a further 40,000 from suppliers.

Replacing the company’s previous Atego 815 – which has served them well for the past 15 years, clocking up over 500,000km without even a clutch change – the new 1018L 4×2 rigid truck comes factory painted in NAA’s distinctive green livery and was ordered with a myriad of driver comfort options and features a Cafco multi-purpose body with curtain and box sides.

Positioned within the 6.5 to 16 tonnes segment, the Atego slots into the Mercedes-Benz range alongside its larger stablemates Actros, Antos and Arocs and is viewed by the German manufacturer as the stand out member of its new truck generation.

Features include Stability Control Assist, ABS, ASR as standard and a high performance braking system designed to ensure maximum driver safety
