Freight Transport Association Ireland (FTA Ireland) says the newly-released Logistics & Supply Chain Confidence Index 2016 by CBRE will be “invaluable” in providing information and guidance on the Irish logistics industry.
The report, sponsored by KPMG, harnesses the opinions of more than 50 senior decision makers in the Irish supply chain sector. Key current issues such as forecasts of capital expenditure, intentions to recruit or downsize, views on e-commerce, adoption of the new postcode and women working in the industry have been explored.
The methodology employed by Analytiqa in conducting the report is consistent with that used in their surveys in other countries.
Neil McDonnell, General Manager of FTA Ireland, said: “We are delighted that CBRE intends to produce the Logistics & Supply Chain Confidence Index on an annual basis, as we believe the insights and expectations of the senior leaders in the sector into competitiveness, investment, and challenges are invaluable.
“The index will be of great interest not merely within the sector, but to the business press and wider community.”
