Independent Automotive Aftermarket Federation (IAAF) has announced it will once again be holding its Team Golf Challenge, which will take place on 6 July at Worsley Park, Nr Manchester, and 11 August at Forest of Arden in Meriden, Warwickshire in aid of automotive trade charity, BEN.
IAAF is a keen supporter of BEN and regularly raises money for the charity at its various events throughout the year, including its upcoming annual cricket event, co-sponsored by FPS and Comma, on 23 June at Dorridge Cricket club near Solihull.
The federation’s annual dinner, held at the ICC in Birmingham in December, also raised close to £10,000 on the night for BEN, with many of the 600 guests donating to the worthy cause.
The golf events are already set to be hugely popular and those interested are encouraged to waste no time in signing up. Booking forms can be found via IAAF’s website under the ‘events’ tab: www.iaaf.co.uk/events
The cost per team of four will be £325 per team plus vat and will include:
Bacon Sandwich and coffee / tea on arrival
18 holes of golf
Presentation of prizes to the winners on the day
The Company Team Challenge will be a four ball format whereby the best two scores on each hole will score, and on all par three holes all four scores will count. The overall winning team across the two days’ play will be invited to the IAAF’s Annual Dinner and will be presented with their prizes.
Various sponsorship opportunities are also available, including:
Nearest the Pin – £100 + cost of trophy (c. £50)
