Racing Engine Oil is the very simple and straightforward name for the range, which will be available in mineral, semi-synthetic and fully synthetic oil specifications. It has been developed and tested under extreme racing conditions in the US, in close association with Richard Childress Racing (RCR). Since 1969, RCR has become synonymous with racing success. It was the first winner of titles in NASCAR’s three national series and has secured a total of 15 championships (six Sprint Cup Series Championships, six NASCAR XFINITY Series titles, two NASCAR Camping World Truck Series titles and one ARCA Racing Series.

The new range is equipped with New Zinc Technology. Zinc is a key racing oil additive because under heat and load, it reacts to increase engine protection. Consequently, racing oils contain more parts per million than oils designed for cars used on public roads.
In addition to high zinc values, the new formulations in the Racing Engine Oil range feature complex additive packages. They include packages that are designed with anti-oxidant, anti-wear, anti-foam and anti-seize technology, plus extra lubricity for faster acceleration and a higher RPM. They also provide the ability to reduce drag, while maintaining optimum operating pressure levels. In collaboration with each other, they deliver the essential qualities needed to achieve outstanding results both on-track and off-road.
Lucas Oil’s new Racing Engine Oil brand is sure to be the subject of intense motor racing media speculation about its potential for success. That’s because Lucas Oil is already a winning racing oil brand in almost every racing class from karts and bikes to cars, dragsters and heavy duty trucks. The range is expected to be available in the UK and Europe from next spring, in time for testing ahead of the 2016 racing season
