Schaeffler Automotive Aftermarket (UK) Ltd has launched a completely revised version of its REPXPERT online portal for workshop professionals, offering everything to make life for an independent garage mechanic that little bit easier.
Whether they need to find the right part, would like more information about the company’s chassis, drivetrain and engine products, or even detailed repair instructions REPXPERT has it all – designed by experts, for experts.
REPXPERT is the solution for all things technical regarding Schaeffler’s original equipment (OE) LuK clutch, INA tensioner and FAG wheel bearings brands, plus Ruville engine and suspension components.
The updated site – where technicians can register for free at www.repxpert.co.uk – is now split into three easy to navigate sections that together provide quick and simple access to a full Schaeffler encyclopedia for the modern workshop professional.
Work – which comprises: product range information; an online TECDOC catalogue; detailed repair instructions; product advantages; a revamped bonus shop; and failure diagnosis guides.
Learn – offering technicians the ability to improve their product knowledge with downloadable training and technical content as well as ‘how-to’ videos.
Inform – where you will find details of the latest Schaeffler news and events, product updates and service information – everything to keep today’s workshop technician fully informed.
One of the major attributes of REPXPERT is the many ways it is possible to identify the correct parts needed for a repair. A built-in TecDoc-powered REPXPERT product catalogue allows you to search by make, model or OE number, plus several other search options such as by VIN or engine code.
And if users would like to know more about a specific Schaeffler product, such as a LuK RepSet Pro, they can simply look at the generic product page and follow the links to access all of the printed promotional or technical materials and videos related to that product.
REPXPERT has recently also gone ‘Live’, with a brand-new fleet of three ‘Technical & Customer Support’ Vehicles designed to enable trainers to give hands-on professional support to technicians at trade shows and events around the country.
Each van started its life as a high roof long wheel base Volkswagen Crafter, but they have been heavily adapted to include a customised workshop style interior and a roof mounted race paddock style awning that can be quickly erected to provide a product display and training environment.
