Travis Perkins plc implements TranzSafety
Travis Perkins plc, the leading supplier of building materials, has implemented the TranzSafety software system across all its sites in the UK.
TranzSafety, released in 2014, has replaced the traditional paper based system of daily vehicle checks and was adopted by Travis Perkins plc later that year, integrating the solution into their existing business systems (ARI for fleet management and Masternaut for vehicle tracking) ensuring a safe and legally compliant operation.
Jon Lowe, Transport Systems Manager for Travis Perkins plc, said: “This new check system will help us further improve our compliance and efficiency of our vehicles within the Group. We already operate over 3,000 vehicles across 2,000 operators’ license sites, and this number is set to increase further with our ambitious growth plans.”
The TranzSafety mobile application from Tranzaura provides the latest in electronic vehicle safety checks for all vehicle types in the transport and bus industries. Developed as a mobile/tablet application for all platforms (iOS, Android and Windows), it allows for all required checks to be:
Fully customisable and completed on a timely basis in a totally paperless environment
Carried out on the driver’s mobile device to manage the collection of data, which is stored centrally in the back office allowing a real time view by the fleet manager of checks being carried out in the field
Defect management is made simple and effective with TranzSafety through the use of image capture on the device that can be routed to the relevant business department to be dealt with. Vehicle downtime in the field is reduced and the workflow of issues is seamless.
