4×4 vehicles catered for by new FAG releases

The FAG wheel bearings range continues to expand with new kits being introduced so far this year for an additional quarter-of-a-million vehicles on the UK and Ireland’s roads.


Eleven new wheel bearing kits have been introduced by original equipment (OE) FAG bearings manufacturer Schaeffler Automotive Aftermarket (UK) Ltd in 2015 including applications for a number of 4×4 vehicles.

Among the latest releases are front and rear kits for the Mitsubishi Outlander II (CW, W) 2.0, 2.2, DI, D, 02/2007-11/2012, and rear kits for the Outlander III hybrid (GG, W, GF), 2.0. 2.2 DI-D, 08/2012-, and for the Nissan Pathfinder (R51) 2.5 dci and 4.0 4wd, 03/2005-, and Hyundai Santa Fe II, III, 2.0, 2.2CRDi, 2.4 and 2.7, 09/2006-.

Plus there are front FAG kits for the BMW X5 and X6 (E70, E71, E72) 30d, 40d, 35d, 20i, 35i and 50i, 2008-, and a rear kit for the X5 (E70, E71, E72), 30d, 40d, 35d, 35i and 50i, 2008-, plus a front kit for the Land Rover Discovery III, IV, 2.7Td, 3.0Td and 3.0 SDv6, 2004-.

The LCV market is also catered for with new left and right rear FAG bearings being introduced for the Ford Transit 2.4 and 3.2 TDCi, 204/2006-.
