TIP Trailer Services achieves ‘Corporate Partner’ status with SOE

Leading trailer company, TIP Trailer Services has recently achieved Corporate Partner status with the Society of Operations Engineers (SOE) and recently Dave Parr, maintenance leader – UK and Ireland, from TIP was presented with the official member plaque.

SOE established its Corporate Partner scheme to develop mutually beneficial relationships between organisations and the Society and the scheme helps organisation reach their goals in education, training, professional standards, safety and best practice.

Commenting on the award, Mike Furnival, commercial director at TIP Trailer Services said, “We see this partnership with the SOE as a major benefit for our customers, especially those on our successful FleetCare trailer maintenance programme, as this partnership offers a high level of confidence knowing that TIP is now a corporate partner with one of the U.K.’s leading professional engineering bodies.”

TIP Trailer Services and SOE have worked closely over many years and last year saw TIP’s Dave Parr also receive an IRTE award in recognition of his assistance in the development of irtec. Dave was a fundamental force in driving forward the heavy vehicle trailer licence route within irtec, the first independent accreditation of its kind for the trailer industry in the UK.
