GT Radial light truck European OE fitments
Giti Tire has confirmed its first GT Radial original equipment (OE) homologation fitments for the European passenger car and light truck market with both Renault Nissan and PSA Peugeot Citroen respectively.
The GT Radial Champiro VP1, in size 185/65R15 88H, will be fitted on Sandero 2 and Logan 2 models, badged either Dacia or Renault. Available throughout Eastern Europe, the Mediterranean region and Russia, the cars are being produced in Morocco, Romania and Russia.
For PSA Peugeot Citroen the GT Radial Champiro VP1, in size 195/65R15 91T, will be fitted to the Peugeot Partner and Citroen Berlingo. To be sold throughout the whole of Western Europe, the vehicles will be manufactured in Spain and Portugal.
Fitment for all models commences immediately with the first tyre deliveries already undertaken.

The GT Radial Champiro VP1 was launched in May 2012, and is described by the company as a mainstream all-round comfort design that offers versatility with an impressive balance of comfort, control, safety and mileage.
Specifications include an advanced tread compound for high levels of grip in both wet and dry conditions which also reduces rolling resistance for increased mileage. Four deep tread grooves control water channelling and anti-hydroplaning, while an optimised tread block design with integral lateral grooves and sipes delivers quick steering response in cornering.
The GT Radial Champiro VP1 is available in 22 sizes ranging from 165/80R13 to 205/55R16, with speed codes ranging from T-V.
