Bridgestone to have high profile appearance at CV Show
Bridgestone will have a high profile at the 2014 CV Show, which gets underway at the NEC, Birmingham on Tuesday
The CV Show will showcase the company’s holistic fleet tyre care offering like never before and also be the first opportunity for fleet managers to see Bridgestone’s new App!
Bridgestone’s huge stand in Hall 5, stand 5D30, will be an eye-catching testament to its Total Tyre Care package, where businesses can keep tight control over tyre-related costs courtesy of a hat-trick of services – which have been tailored to meet the needs of every fleet operator.
3 Tyre Management Pillars
The three tyre management pillars: Total Tyre Life, Total Tyre Services and Total Tyre Systems will be the most prominent visual features in the overall stand design, which will also boast a golf simulator and ergonomically created tyre stands.
The overall attempt is to create the most compelling space possible for CV Show visitors and guests alike, as Bridgestone hopes to make its presence felt like never before.
Frank White, Commercial Sales Manager, Bridgestone Ireland, said the brand’s Total Tyre Care solution continues to offer the most enduring message to fleet operators.
He said: “We are genuinely proud of our Total Tyre Care offering and we believe it gives us a big advantage over our competitors. This accounts for much of the look and feel of our stand. The CV Show is our most significant opportunity of the year, in terms of communicating key company messages and the many opportunities that exist over the three days.”
Total Tyre Life aims to maximize tyre life, thereby reducing tyre cost/km over the entire lifecycle, through the supply of Bridgestone premium new tyres and Bandag retreads.
Total Tyre Services is the package that keeps a fleet’s trucks on the road and running at maximum efficiency. It includes everything a fleet needs, from fleet tyre inspections to professional technical advice on keeping tyres in top condition, maximising their total tyre life.
Meanwhile, Total Tyre Systems is the third pillar of the programme, designed to give fleet operators clear visibility of their tyres’ condition at all times.
Golf Products & Accessories
Bridgestone has also opted to showcase its provision of golf products and accessories at an industry show for the first time, in an attempt to bring a huge company asset to a new audience, who may not be aware of the strength of the sports range.
Frank adds, “We boast some of the most technologically advanced products in golf and think that CV Show visitors – who may be keen golfers too – will be interested in the space we have created. It is another point of difference that we haven’t leveraged before and we think it will prove to be popular.”
There will also be a Golf simulator on the Bridgestone stand where visitors will be able to assess their skills.
New Bridgestone Toolbox Touch App!
“Finger-clicking good” is how the new Bridgestone Toolbox Touch App has been described and fleet operators will get their first glimpse of it at the CV Show! This innovative new App is expected to save them considerable time and money when it arrives in the marketplace.
The App is a digital fleet management solution to meet the needs of operators everywhere, as well as the brand’s sales and technical teams alike.
The ‘Toolbox Touch’, which is a native Windows 8 application with tablets in mind, records huge quantities of tyre data in a clear and concise manner.
The tyres’ data is accumulated and registered on the Toolbox, which then provides easy-to-understand analysis and reports.
Through the user-friendly interface, fleet managers can access vital information and keep track of monthly expenses, pressure maintenance, removal causes, retreadability, tyre life, cost per kilometre, inventory control, and much more.
Frank White comments, “The app represents a big advance in both technology and efficiency for Bridgestone. “It records inspection of tyres on vehicles and quickly generates user-friendly reports for fleet consulting services.
